David is passionate about helping churches strengthen their culture of generosity so they can more fully pursue the mission God has entrusted to them. With more than three decades of pastoral and consulting experience, including serving as Lead Pastor of two large churches and consulting with more than 150 churches and pastors, David brings both strategic insight and pastoral wisdom to every conversation.

David believes generosity flourishes when churches move beyond transactional fundraising and help people see giving as part of their discipleship. He specializes in helping leaders assess their current reality, clarify their vision, and develop practical strategies that align ministry, staffing, and financial goals. In all of his generosity work, David keeps the larger goal in view: helping churches make more and better disciples of Jesus.

Rooted in the conviction that generosity is a vital part of spiritual formation, David helps churches create environments where giving becomes a natural overflow of growth in Christ. He and his wife, Sue, have been married for 35 years and love spending time with their three adult daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren, who all live nearby. Their goldendoodle, who may be Sue’s favorite member of the family, keeps them on their toes.
