David is passionate about equipping churches and faith-based nonprofits to strengthen their culture of generosity to aid the church or ministry in fulfilling their mission. With over three decades of pastoring and consulting experience—serving as a lead pastor of two large and thriving churches and a consultant to over 100 churches and pastors—David brings both strategic insight and spiritual depth to every conversation. 

David believes generosity flourishes when churches move beyond transactional fundraising to transformational discipleship. He specializes in helping leaders assess their current reality, clarify their vision, and implement strategies that align staffing, ministry, and financial goals. As he consults on generosity, he does it with the goal in mind – making more and better disciples of Jesus.

Rooted in a deep conviction that generosity is a vital aspect of discipleship, David helps churches create environments where giving is a natural overflow of spiritual growth. He and his wife, Sue, have been married for over 30 years and love spending time with their three adult children, two sons-in-law, and two grandchildren who all live nearby. Their goldendoodle, who may be Sue’s favorite, keeps them on their toes!
